Prospects of use of a database - Уthe account of diagnostic sets v1.0 Ф in veterinary PCR and ElISA-laboratories.

Growth of computer equipment of veterinary diagnostic and research laboratories, occurrence of wide assortment of diagnostic sets demands occurrence of systems of the computerized and automated account of account materials used in diagnostic works. The modern instrument base of laboratories allows to carry out great volumes of researches that is accompanied by a fast revolution of means and the intensive charge of diagnostic sets. In this connection the requirement for databases of the diagnostic researches recording and analyzing volumes making an economic estimation of diagnostic researches, for the future should increase only.

Modern means of the warehouse account do not correspond to inquiries veterinary specialists for some reasons. First, they can be too difficult and overloaded specific terminology that it is impossible to count suitable for laboratories into which staff persons with economic formation, as a rule, do not enter. Second, their functionalities, sometimes rather wide, are not always capable to provide all complex of inquiries of practice.

The database У the account of diagnostic sets v1.0 Ф is intended for registration of diagnostic works and the analysis of charges of diagnostic sets. For work of a database presence of the installed program У Microsoft Access 2000 Ф is necessary.

The following concept has been put in a basis of development of our database.

1. The control system of a database should be based on the terminology accepted in veterinary diagnostic laboratories and the documentation.

2. The account of diagnostic sets should be indirect, based on the analysis of volumes of diagnostic researches and deliveries of account materials and, accordingly, not demanding additional expenditures of labour.

3. The database should possess the sufficient universality, allowing to process results of diagnostic researches.

4. The important element is use programyng maintenance and an opportunity to use a database as the module for other programs.

According to above-stated, a database У the account of diagnostic researches v1.0 Ф has the following structure.

The compound form loaded by default У diagnostic sets Ф displays receipt and the charge of each set and the detailed information on terms of the charge of each set. The form also contains the schedule showing charge of all kinds of diagnostic sets.

The structure of the basic forms includes the element of management having three tabs under names: sets, clients, tests.

The above mentioned element of management allows to move under other forms of a database, to look through reports. The tab "sets" allows to deduce reports on deliveries of sets, the charge, deduces balance of account materials, and also to update the information at cost of sets and account materials, to enter the new prices of diagnostic researches and new versions of account materials, to update lists and characteristics of suppliers.

The form clients deduces the generalized and detailed data on each agricultural enterprise ordering diagnostic researches, shows volumes of researches in a quantitative and price equivalent, kinds of researches. In the form the table displaying volumes and kinds of researches is built - in by date of, there is an opportunity of a conclusion of the conclusions on researches.

Input of the new information basically is made through the form of "test", in this form there is a updating the list agricultural the enterprises, the data on the tests which have acted on researches, etc. are entered. The Data under the prices, data input on new versions of account materials is made through the form У diagnostic sets Ф. Updating of the list of the enterprises, suppliers is made directly during introduction of the data on deliveries or tests, further input of more detailed information is possible.

The conclusion: Due to use of a database it was possible to reduce considerably expenditures of labour connected with definition of volumes of payments for researches, an estimation of quantity of the rests on sets reactivs, information search on examinations. The volume of financial mistakes that has increased economic efficiency of work of laboratory was reduced. Automation of the analysis of charges of diagnostic sets has allowed to raise accuracy of forecasts on expenses reactivs, is duly and in the necessary quantity to get diagnostic sets. In this connection efficiency of use of turnaround means raises and the quantity of idle times of the sets connected to the overexpenditure is reduced.
